I showed the picture to Jess this morning and she said "Is that daddy's brother?"
But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

I bought CyberCandy's mystery parcel, which arrived today, and this is what was in it:

Reese's PB easter eggs
Reese's crunchy PB cups
Junior Mints
Junior Mints lip balm
Cracker Jacks
Mrs Fields cookies (3 different flavours)
Swedish Fish
chocolate covered coffee beans (Japanese)
3 different chewy (starburst type) packs of sweeties (also Japanese)
Airwaves Black Menthol chewing gum
caramel & cream Rolos
honey Rolos
Hubba Bubba sour berries bubble gum
Texan bars
Highland Toffee bars
Blackjacks
Aero vanilla yoghurt bars
Star Trek Excelsior model with chocolate crunchy candy

... i think that's it.

Some of it im not really keen on, but it was a good surprise, and there is a lot there that i will happily eat!  :)

What a great week.... I passed my Practical driving test today and I finally have a desk and office at my job (after being there for almost 1 month!)

Well done, Smootie!  It's such a relief, isn't it?

My UP is having another good experience with a GP in our practice.  Going to her to discuss a fairly difficult, emotional experience.  She just started off with "well, first off, how are you doing in yourself?"  It felt very kind, and I actually just stated the facts and was able to move on through the appointment with no tears. (Not that that's some kind of feat, but I loathe crying in front of people I don't know).

For me, it would probably have been a feat!  I don't like to cry in front of other people either, and it's appalling (to me) when it does happen.  Steve is used to my waterworks by now though -- always says it's only a passing rainstorm.  (And if he were honest, probably preferable to angry thunderstorms.  hee hee) :)
