I was checking out a Pink Floyd site Friday night and it stated that Roger Waters had added another show at Earls Court. On a whim I called ticketmaster ( it was close to 9PM) and I was able to get really good seats!  We saw David Gilmour this past May and will be seeing Roger Waters this coming May.
And congrats pdxgal!  :D

I had an opportunity to see Roger Waters, someone had a free ticket but I had no clue who he was so didn't go.   Didn't find out until I talked to some friends that I probably missed an awesome concert.  [smiley=doh.gif]

A girlie night with one of my favourite cousins -- eating pizza, drinking wine and watching the last 3 nights of "I'm a Celebrity" (which we both missed).

I posted my cv on monster.com several weeks ago. Today I got a job from a major retail store asking me if I would be interested in a job as a department head! I went for an interview two hours later, and they hired me on the spot! I start training tomorrow. Even if I only stick with it for a little while, it will be worth the extra money.

I'm happy about it! I dont know how it's going to work when school starts back up in Jan, but I'll make enough money between then and now to pay for my trip to Paris and pay for school next semester! (I go to a community college)  :)

I don't start out as a dept. head, that happens after I stick it out for six weeks, but I'm still making more than I was teaching preschool. My manager has been to England, and that was basically the main topic of conversation during my interview.  ;D

Went to pick up my wee boy up from Gym Joey's (gym activity for toddlers) and was watching him through the window. He was smiling and appeared to be having fun. Then he spied me, stopped dead in his tracks and gave me the biggest, most excited smile and took off running across the gym hall and did a footballer's knee slide. He is really good at it for his age and the the fact that I've no idea where he picked it up. Don't know what I am on about? Watch a football (soccer) game and see what the guy that scores does.

GOOD ON YERS ImissEngland!
Still tired of coteries and bans. But hanging about anyway.

I think that is an essential skill for all boys in the UK.  When he starts pulling his jersey over his head, then I would be really worried!  ;)

went to my first burlesque class today was slightly annoyed that my mate backed out so I got there feeling absolutely not up for it thinking most of the women there were going to be professional performers but it turned out in the class some were barristers and non dancers just out for a laugh ;D
But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

Having my mom here was wonderful.  Josh loved her and knew who she was from the start. (I love skype)  He got a lot of great grandma quality time.  We both miss her so much now.
