Some neighbours' sheep got loose this morning and were enjoying their newfound (and brief) freedom in the Castle grounds across the road from my house. I watched them through my bedroom window for a while, then broke down and braved the wind with my camera:

There are a couple of pictures here.

I love sheep!

That is across your street?!!! Man, I'm jealous, that is beautiful!

Snow!!!  It is snowing!  Now, it finally feels like December here in good old New England.  Now, if only DB were here, we could have a proper snuggle!

Thanks! It is beautiful, but definitely not looking its best in this horrendous weather.

Well, you'll have to buy the book ;)

"What began with mild curiosity, ended up being a full obsession... I got nothing accomplished [this weekend] that I'd intended to, because I ended up following these characters around town as if I'd joined a cult!  Well, sign me up!  I'm a writer (I honestly don't remember saying that) and I cannot even think of the right words to express the experience - it was beyond stupendous, amazing, and just a bunch of glorious fun. ... I was amazed at the joyous spirit that seemed to unify all of London."

I'm trying to finish up my papers for this semester. I'm at school, and there is a guy running around wearing a gorilla suit. Some other people are filming it for a class project. He's playing the flute and carring bananas.  ;D It's great seeing people's reactions.

LOL! That reminds me of the time that a stripper came to DH's chemistry class!

Getting in before 4AM last night (company holiday do) and waking up in time to see DH off to the airport for his Chicago trip.  Only a couple weeks before I meet him there!   :) :-\\\\

Because of the Heathrow noise, I have been sleeping with earplugs in pretty much since I moved in. I have been increasingly unhappy with the foam ones, and went online shopping. I found a website that specializes in them, and when I emailed them for some advice in choosing the right pair for my situation, they offered to send me "a selection of types"  FREE OF CHARGE so that I could see which type I preferred before making my decision!

That type of customer service is becoming increasing rare and I am tickled pink!
