Almost crying my eyes out today wondering how in the world I was going to get my husband any christmas presents, and then him calling me and told me he found his ultimate Christmas present in the free ads (a tropical fish tank, complete with fish) FOR FREE!!!  He is now happily playing with the tank and it contents as happy as a lark.  YAY!!!

No one knows, but how fabulous that he had it on his mind... I thought I'd have to make sure he knew I was serious about it... but he clarified basically that it's a whole new position, even for him; he's creating it from scratch, so for the time being, literally no one knows what he'll need or require.
I wanted to hug him in front of all the club members when HE said "well, perhaps there it might free up some more time for you to pursue your acting and creative endevors, because I don't honestly know how you do it now with everything you do here."

I'm tellin' ya, there is NO NICER MAN IN THE NATION.  A true gem.
(and thanks for the support and knowing how much it means to me!)

I wish I could find someone like that, I have been having a terrible time with people on the phone, potential bosses who, it feels like, they don't even want to know me.

my (undergraduate) student loans company giving me a 30 day grace period on payment (above and beyond the 6 months after graduation) while they process my deferment request! Yay!!

Following up from yesterday....checked my loan account online today and not only has my deferment been processed, they've given me a second 6 month grace period....no loan payments for undergrad or grad until April 2008!! Yeah! ;D
Now a triple citizen!

Student visa 9/06-->Int'l Grad Scheme 1/08-->FLR(M) 7/08-->ILR 6/10-->British citizenship 12/12
