I found this British store today (in the US) and bought a bunch of Twirls and white & dark chocolate Buttons. I also bought a Galaxy bar...I am in heaven.  ;D

The weather today is lovely and moody...

Nice and crisp, and a bit on the misty side.  Edinburgh looks absolutely amazing in this!!!
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

A bit of a long one.  My youngest niece wanted this pony for Christmas and supposedly I 'promised' I would be the one to get it for her?  So I trek out this morning at 7 AM to get it and wrap.  Fast forward to this afternoon when we opened the presents as they are going back to their house for Christmas morning.  We open everything except I hide that one separately until the very end when I tell her there's one more for her.  She goes and gets it and opens it and oh my goodness....it was like the purest happiness and joy!  It made me cry actually - she just said 'oh gigi it is just what I wanted!  I love you so so so much!'   :\\\'( :\\\'( :D

All the presents are wrapped!  Yay!  No 1AM wrapping session for me!  AND when I sat down and actually added the teenagers presents up on paper I found that there was only a difference of TWO POUNDS.  Oh, I am SUCH a clever Mummy.

I braved Oxford circus shopping today and decided to add a prince Eric doll that was only £3 then on the tube home chatting with another person on the train and we started talking about our last minute shopping jaunt... showing each other the little finishing touches we got ...I pulled out Eric and said  "oh you poor lad you're about to head to room full of single princesses you won't stand a chance."

ha , ha made some folks on the carriage chuckle and two others joined our conversation.

It was nice banter from absolute stranger to make the journey less taxing.
But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

You are SUCH a clever mummy, I agree!!!   ;D

I have to say, the little things with the teenagers mean more..  DD had to sleep in, shower, do her hair AND get dressed.  Why today?  DS was DYING to get started on the pressies.

It's a whole new ballgame - Christmas with teenagers!
