Getting a 33% discount on my car rental for the 2 days I need a rental car before I move. My cousin's best friend works for the company and hooked me up with the discount, so I'm super happy.

Ooo, I used to LOVE that!  Hot, buttery, salty popcorn w/m&m's mixed in = heaven!!!  (Now off to see if I have either popcorn or m&m's in the house!)

My UP - was out with my girls earlier...they disappeared for a few minutes and then came back with a helium balloon with a smiley face on it!  They'd bought it for me...definitely made me smile, especially when elder dd carefully tied it to my wrist so I wouldn't lose it!   [smiley=laugh4.gif]

a closing down sale where the dress I've been eyeing during christmas was dramatically reduced. Got my dress for a friend's wedding in June. Couldn't find one for the other wedding in July though.

Don't be. There wasnt enough to count and I still had to go to school. It was 16F here (TN) this morning! If it's going to be this cold, we should at least have a good 2-3 inches of snow!!!

My mate that I talked into applying for my job (in my group) & I helped guide her through the interview process...she started her training for it today!  <Laughing maniacally to myself as I eye the backlog of work we have...> ;D

Received a 'buy one get one free' coupon for a meal at Sweet Tomatoes...the closest is in Vegas (2 1/2 hour drive) but my birthday is coming up and I feel a day trip to 'Sin City' coming on!!!  ;D

Granted, lunch at ST and a little (window!) shopping probably doesn't seem that exciting to most, but I've been stuck at my parents' house for nearly three weeks now and I've got some serious cabin fever!

Woohoo!  Passed my Life in the UK test today and met some very nice people. I was so happy I came home and made chocolate chip bagels which are about to come out of the oven.  Spouse is pleased as all he had for dinner was my lovely spinach soup, but when the meal has no meat in it, he doesn't think it counts.  Poor lad....
