Found out today that my BPA (my contract, so to speak) to work with my current team has been extended through 2006!  That means I won't have to change projects/teams at least for another year, and that I can continue coming downtown for work.  That is major coolness!!

And - I'm being pulled into a project may have a possibility of my traveling to England!  More major coolness!!!

Oh - I forgot to add too - received four eBay purchases in the mail, and a gorgeous pair of trousers I bought from Chadwicks.  I love getting packages!!

Logging in to my Ebay account and seeing that our items are currently bidding at about double what we expected to get for them.

Speaking of Ebay. The last of our payments came through today for our auctions and we cleared £260! That was indeed an unexpected pleasure!

Jamie stopping by (whilst out on "a run" for work) to give me a hug.  I needed it big time...with having this lousy flu and getting another job rejection letter.  He's so wonderful!

The car dealer guy called today.  It's time to turn in my lease, and I've been putting it off, rolling the dice, and praying that better incentives would come along so I can stay in the same type of vehicle.

Well - I'm glad I waited!!  I will go pick up my new Jeep Liberty tomorrow - same payment as I have now, and a vehicle with more bells and whistles!!  Woo hoo!!

Light Khaki Metalic.  Sweeeeeet!!!

Had a lunch carry-in for a gal at work today (she eloped a while back- and never announced the marriage, though; hubby diagnosed w/ cancer recently, so as a pick me up we gave her a belated shower- all gift cards, very fun)

and someone brought in the YUMMIEST bread pudding, as well as super garlic bread and great lasagne. . . .

Pilferd some bread pudding to take back to my cubicle. . . Yum. :D

Definitely unexpected and, most assuredly, an overwhelming pleasure: getting a new job that I had applied and interviewed for and had received notification back saying I didn't get it...  finding out today that they had narrowed it down to me and another lady, she turned it down...so, now...IT'S MINE!!!  ;D
