No, it requires a little bus ride...but, that's ok...it's worth it. ;D

My unexpected pleasure was having Jamie meet me after a day of a temp job I said I would do (I agreed to it before I got the call telling me I had the GOOD job), in Leicester.  I was utterly exhausted after a day of running up and down stairs non-stop for 5 hours with no break (selling shoes...I HATE SHOES...)...and, I was dreading the walk back to the train station and the walk from the train station to our flat...alone.  But, when I came out, ready to drop, there was my Jamie...waiting for me.  ;D

Being woke up by my phone this morning to find it was a call from the airline confirming my flight, and making it that more real that my visit is coming up in less than two weeks now  ;D ;D ;D

Getting an email from two friends from back home who have just gotten ENGAGED!!
And they addressed it to only me, saying they wanted me to be the first to know.
*sniff*
And told me the whole story... he pulled out the ring and asked her while they were in the third row of a Paul McCartney concert, just as he was starting to play "Maybe I'm Amazed" - their song.

having a  friendly  lady on the bus take me under her wing when she  heard me asking the bus driver  how to get to my destination and if the bus I was getting on  was it...
4 buses had passed before I had the courage  to just get on  that one..

Having an old friend tell me she missed my "wide smile". I have always thought I have a too small mouth but we rarely see ourselves the way others see us. The comment also reminded me of how easy it is to make another person's day with a simple kind statement. Here's a wide smile for Janet in France.  ;D

The look on the ol' cow's face when she saw that Jamie and I are still together.  ;D

Sleeping in, and then spending three blissful hours ALL ALONE in the house.  Just me, my book and some really loud music.  Heaven!!
