But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

My other half finally finished tiling the bathroom.  No more blue plastic hanging on the wall protecting it from damp.  Now after only 3 short months,we have beautifully white shiny tiles.  Woo hoo!

My boss giving me a sick day today. I just got home from London last night at 10PM and had asked for today off weeks ago but it was not approved due to the upcoming holiday and loads of ppl wanting this week off. I came home with a NASTY chest cold and was pretty sure she was going to make me go in anyways. Just got the call to keep my foreign germs at home today. :)

Finding I have a strange fondness for my ugly, 2-week long rental car instead of HATING it as I thought I would. .
It's a hideous red Chevy Aveo hatchback- but I'm having fun with it while I have it.  :)

Going out and about for a walk all by myself and not getting lost here.. yay! I am directionally challenged so believe me this is a big deal  ;D

Aaaaw- that's GREAT MeShell. . .

Thankful that my wayward kid sister came home and was NOT promptly thrown out on her *rse like she deserved, even if she DID polish off all the mashed potates.

*raises glass* and here's to hoping my family works it out so she can remain at home for awhile w/o bloodshed. . . .

Having the morning ALONE in the house - complete peace, I can do what I want!
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Receiving an email from an old friend back home, and at the end he added:

"... until I see you at Christmas, in the meantime, here's a picture of my *bleep*."  :o

We were always friends, nothing more.  I was shocked.

Then I scrolled down to the bottom of the email and saw this:
