Did you find anything for the wee girl?
No! I was so dissapointed! I am on the list for buying her a little cd player for her room. I found the exact one I wanted on their website, but when I got to the store I found out they don't carry it in store, only online. So I will go to Best Buy and get her another one I've found. I also need to ask the coordinator of the project what the girl's age and size is because I wanted to get her some other girly things when I was shopping last night but didn't know enough about her.

So it will be back to the mall for me next weekend.
The children in this program are wards of the State. The have been removed from their own homes due to drug use, abuse, lack of care, what have you. They will live in this group home, which is more like a dormatory, until they are 18, at which time they will need to make a life for themselves. The State helps them prepare for this by teaching them the skills they will need to manage money, find jobs, etc.
