The woman at the post office advised me to make my big package into three separate smaller packages and save on postage.

Adding up cost of the three smaller pkgs was HALF of what the big package would have been...

she's amazing!!!!!!

18 GBP instead of 36!

When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

(Sorry, thought of another one!)

For the second time since I've been visiting the states, I've been mistaken for my sister's TWIN....she's 10 years younger than I am!  ;D

(I'm choosing to believe that it's because I look so young, not because she might look older and tired due to having three kids ages 5 and under!)

The funny thing is, if you look at old childhood photos of us we looked absolutely NOTHING alike!

Trading bedrooms with my son, giving him the bigger room. I was afraid I wouldn't like it, but turns out it's really cozy and cute! Oh, and yeah after six hours of straightening, sorting, and throwing things out my house hasn't been so organized since I first moved in!

I must be feeling a bit soppy today... i've been watching All Creatures Great & Small... it was so lovely when Bramble the cow winked at the livestock show judge, and when Gip and Shep,  the 2 collies that had been separated found eachother... and Gip barked for the first time ever!

DH just called - he's in London for the day and has bought a prize for me -- a powdered strawberry-filled Krispy Kreme doughnut!  It might be a little smooshed from the 3 hour train ride and certainly isn't on my diet, but I'm going to enjoy that baby!  DH is such a sweetie!   :-*
