Being inspired to write poems two days running.  I've had a bit of a dry spell lately.  Now, after the piano is tuned, let the songs come!

LOVE the cartoon!  And oh, too true!!!  ;D
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

I used to love writing poetry and short stories, but I haven't in many, many moons. :(  I'm glad your muse has returned.

A friend/former boss wrote me the nicest letter of recommendation.  It was glowing!  I was very touched.   :)
"Mind is the Master power that molds and makes,
And Man is Mind, and evermore he takes
The tool of Thought, and, shaping what he wills,
Brings forth a thousand joys, a thousand ills:
He thinks in secret, and it comes to pass,
Environment is but his looking glass."
-James Allen, "As a Man Thinketh"

Courtney started giggling a few days ago but only for Dale..but today I was the one that had her giggling  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

of course to make her giggle you have to make  a complete fool out of yourself by dancing around & talking in strange voices hehe

Becoming an auntie... again
Another boy, but oh well  ;)

(oh, I guess it counts as unexpected, cuz we didn't know what sex he'd be, and he was due last week... so I was waiting to hear)
