We're moving house and I called a few removal companies, They all wanted £135-£200 just to remove around 20 boxes of stuff. But I finally contacted a "man with a van" company and it will only cost us £60 [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

Tripping on the stairs at school (well that's not the unexpected pleasure bit), dropping my stuff everywhere (still not the good part) and a really cute and maybe even interesting/intelligent guy stopped and helped me pick up everything...then walked me to class...then asked me to go out for ice cream this weekend!  :D

Congrats!  :)

Congrats, thats awesome! :)

I myself dont have any unexpected pleasures yet today, just read that and had to reply :)

So glad theres a modfy button hehe ;)

My mom just called and said she found a wal-mart card in her purse with money on it and is giving it to me, and she also is giving my son and niece a bit of spending money :)

And my son helped me fold a mountain of towels...hes so sweet :)

Hmm... does that have anything to do with your "What Would You Like To Know..." question about spending £100 on liquor in one go?? ;D

Receiving a lovely email with photographs from my friends' engagement party back home.
They met in Musical Theatre class that we were all in together, and they always keep in touch with me (they CALLED me to tell me FIRST right after they got engaged!)

I just walked back home from the store to find a huge box with my name on it in front of my door. Hubbies company sent us a beautiful planter arrangement with their thoughts and prayers after my grandfather's recent passing. We are overseas for his work, and I was very touched that they offered their condolences! Now my living room is brighter  :)

Had two people ask me 'Have you lost weight?' in the past 24 hours.  I've been dieting, but the weight is coming off REALLY slowly, so it was nice to have somebody notice!
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

Every day with my husband is its own unexpected pleasure. [smiley=love.gif]

Finding out that my cousin gave birth to a little boy!  [smiley=daisy.gif]  He is adorable!

(she had two miscarriages in the past, and her father and grandmother both suddenly passed away in the past year, so this is really a special blessing for her and our family!)

My sister was visiting and that was the first thing she asked me.  I don't weigh myself so I never know.  But at the DRs the other day, I was weighed and I'm 10 pounds less than I have been for the past 8 years!

The wonderful Steve Hogarth performing No One Can (Jamie's and my song) last night in Sheffield.  That, and performing Carole King's It's Too Late (completely unexpected) and Stevie Wonder's Livin' For The City (also unexpected, also a pleasure, and ironic because we (The Comfy Chairs, that is) do that one)!
