Last night I met with Pete (band leader) in order to work out problems with the PA and to rehearse a couple new numbers for Sunday evening when we play The Test Match in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire.   We made progress, the evening was worthwhile - so much so that Pete asked to hear some of the stuff that Ivor and I did last Saturday - including my own songs (so, I sat down at his brand spanking new £1500 Kawai - as dreamy as it gets for a keyboard - and played and sang for him) - and he said, if I would get the chords to the rest of the band, he would like the band to do some things I've written!!!  ;D   While I know what I have written is good, I never in a month of Sundays would have imagined Pete would want to do anything of mine, from the standpoint that not a lot of people know my stuff (YET!) - and Pete likes to, primarily, do the stuff people recognise and can sing along with.  So, needless to say, I am pleased as the proverbial punch about this.  It's extremely encouraging.

YAY!!!
I was born in the Summer and at Night...my mother named me AUTUMN DAWN.  True story.

Jamie's...beyond the stars and past eternity.

EMAIL or PM me for information about gigs or about booking me (solo gig) or the band.

The smell of my red sauce wafting through the house.

And knowing that although it's still freaking cold(!!!) -- spring really is just around the corner, and the days are getting longer -- yaye! :)

But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.
