But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

Was worrying about finding Sarah a great kindergarten for the upcoming fall. The public school we are zoned for is good, but the classes are getting really big and we wanted a smaller child to teacher ratio for her. We went and met with the pricipal at a church day school that runs K4 - 5th grade and fell in love with the place. There was only one spot left and there were three kids in line before Sarah. The teachers are dedicated and the school is great. We called about 30 minutes after our meeting to say we would love for Sarah to attend if a spot should become available and she gave Sarah the slot! The other parents had not called so she said she would prefer a student whose parents had an attitude like ours. We were relieved! It is a private school, about three minutes from our house and the tuition is very low compared to other schools that compare. And their past student SAT scores are in the third highest in the state!

The origami calendar that my mother in law gave us for Christmas is really really fun!  I made fun of it at first but now I love it!   ;D
