rediscovering a CD that you've not listened to in ages

But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

Wandering in on a great shoe clearance sale at Target!  Got 1 pair kitten-heel dress shoes and one pair mocs, both leather, for $5 each!  ;D

Getting home from work to find my girls have written a puppet play for me.  They even had an intermission where they served hard boiled eggs, string cheese, and soda!  Silliest thing I've seen in ages, but it was great fun.
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

Me too!  Well, not the puppet play, but the shoe sale!

Bought two pair of cool pointed toe pumps with about a 2.5in heel, one pair in brown one in a dark cherry - $8 a pair!!!  Brazillian leather too!

Makes up for finding out Simon won't be here till December.  No - it doesn't really, but I'm trying to think it does.   :\\\'(

It's so sunny outside DH took THREE loads of wet laundry over to ILs house to dry it outside, on a washing line.   ;D  It's going to smell so lovely, and the towels will have the extra cruch.

Picking things from your own garden for dinner -- the other day I had my own broad beans, then picked my own rosemary to go on new potatoes (not mine). Later in the summer it'll be tomato & basil salad (both from my garden)!  Now if I only had room for a herd of buffalo, I could add my own mozzarella! ;)

My portable evaporative cooler, which suddenly stopped working about 2 months ago, just as suddenly started working again!  Now, instead of it being 94 degrees in my bedroom, it's only about 80!  ;D ;D ;D

We showered our cat last night - he's a Persian with long fur that needs washed regularly - and then I brushed and combed his coat and now it's all silky and fluffy.  He felt a million bux and strutted around, stopping to groom himself now and again.

Aw, I LOVE cats!
