We are almost done with the move

I arrived a while ago to get a job and find a home for me and my Paul in the big-bad-city of Seattle, while he stayed in Edinburgh waiting for a visa.  It's been a little hard, me being 6,000 miles from him and all, and going home to see my folks every weekend (2 hours from Seattle) to help take care of things around the house for them.

Well, the long wait is almost over.  Paul arrives, visa in hand, tomorrow at 12:20 PM PST.  We are very excited, though the next five weeks are planned out already!   Mom's bday dinner Friday, nephews Bday party Saturday, two family bday parties the next weekend...and loads of yard work and gardening in between!  Even though traveling between Seattle and "home" every weekend is going to be exhausting, I'm just very glad that Paul will be here to be exhausted with me--finally!!

I hope Paul enjoys his life in America as much as he thinks he will--he loves all things American, so I'm sure he'll love it!!

That's so great, Frances! Congratulations .. at last!

Yeah--we are very excited!  The great thing is that my Uncle is now heading out to Europe to tramp around for a while, so we get to "store" all of his really really nice furniature (and his wine collection!) so when we are ready to take off to Scotland again, we won't have loads of things to sell.  (We'd just put Uncle's stuff into storage and he'd foot the bill!).

Just 24 hours and 55 minutes until Paul's plane lands.  Not that I'm counting or anything!!
