Travelling to US with Baby
« on: May 04, 2005, 05:01:49 PM »
Quick question gang:

My wife and I are planning a trip back to the states in September with our daughter (who will be 6 1/2 months old by then).  After much thought, we have made the decision NOT to have our child vaccinated.  Will this affect our ability to have her travel with us?

I know there are Visa provisions requiring immunisation, but I am unaware if these apply to people going on holiday in the states.

Our passport appointment for her in on June 9th

Thanks

Well I brought my 7 month old to the USA and they never asked for vaccination records or asked any questions.

Since your daughter is a US citizen it won't be asked.  The immunizations are only for immigrant visas.

My childred aren't immunized yet and I had no problems at all.
