Where can I find cheap, detailed maps of main cities in Europe?

If you Google for the tourist boards of the cities you want to visit, you can often get free maps posted to you.

That will show you motorways, roads, tube stops, rail stations, and parks.  Not sure how much more detailed you wanted though.
