I'm applying for HSMP and they ahve just charged my credit card for the application processing fee (now $580+). I have an offer letter to take up post on June 20 and want to fax over my request for urgent treatment but am not sure when to do this. I understand that they may send me a application reference number but am wondering if it would be worthwhile to fax over the urgent treatment form in advance of getting that number because I dont know when they will send it.
Also, is there any benefit in having the employer call the office to follow up on the app? Mine has offered but I dont want to irritate those who hold my future in their hands...
