Post Office Phone Cards
« on: May 17, 2005, 12:27:03 PM »
The post office has an offer on right now for phone cards that are completely FREE to call the US on Saturdays during May and June.
You can buy them in £5, £10 or £20 and when you call the US on a saturday between 12 noon and 12 midnight, (landlines AND mobiles) it says 'you have unlimited time for this call'  Its about .03p/minute on the other days.  I apologize for having already promoted these in another thread but I can't get over how good they are!

I was going to mention this too.  I went to post a parcel the other day and the lady noticed my accent and told me about the free calling offer.  I thought that was incredibly nice of her.  Also I think December is included in the free calling as well.  :)

Wow! What a great deal. Wish I could find something so good here too!

if you plan to use your mobile phone to make the calls from, check to see if they add a surcharge.  a fried got charged an extra .50p a minute for phoning me from Orange.  Just didn't want anyone else to get the same surprise phone bill!
