Appt for spouse at consulate?

This is probably a silly question that's been answered before, but...

I have an appointment in June at the NYC consulate for my spousal settlement visa. My hubby's planning on coming with me. Do I need to make a separate appointment for him, or can he just show up and come in with me?

He can go with you -- though I seem to remember that some people's spouses haven't been allowed up with them.  Mine came up when we applied in September 2003.  Hopefully someone who has applied more recently can let you know if their spouse went up with them.
