the eurovision is far too political for words its so obvious its now funny. Greece and Cyprus give each other 12 points all the balkans ie croatia, serbia and montenegro etc stick together all the scandanavians vote for each other, and the 4 countries that bankroll the whole competition ie Spain Germany France and us  ( britain ) finish in the bottom four .Terry's coments do make it worthwhile watching , did like the greek entry though
btw thanks Ireland for the 8 points over half our total lol  ;D
its a far better thing i do than i have ever done

Hmm.. I must say that I have a masochistic streak. Must watch the Eurovision every year, just so that I can gawk at how bad it is. The funnest thing is to predict which countries give points to which. And the thing is, it's almost always the same countries!
Eg.
Cyprus & Greece
UK & Malta
The former Yugoslavian countries
Scandinavian countries
etc etc.

But did anybody notice how Russia didn't score points from Israel this year? ;)

Well, it actually supports the fact of what many have stated, that Eurovision is no longer pure entertainment and music, but political.

Terry is the bestest reason to watch Eurovision!!!!

I've watched every year for the past 10 years.  (Yes, and I will admit that to anyone.  ;D)

DH mentioned from another forum that Spain, France and Germany are thinking of dropping out of next years competition and have asked GB to join!!!  (Oh, where will they get the funding)

That's exactly why I like to watch it!  DH had us watch it the first year I was over here, as part of my 'cultural' education...LOL.  Now I think he's sorry he did that...  Hahahaha!

But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.
