Just realised I never put my baby's birth announcement up, so now I'm feeling sheepish doing it so late, but I'll share anyway.
Our little Esther was born 17 June last year after a C-section. She was breech, and my second daughter had been 10 pounds. I was given the option of natural birth, but after much thought, didn't feel comfortable with the thought of pushing out another huge baby that was breech. So now I've done two natural deliveries with no pain relief (one was a water birth) and one C-section. I've covered the spectrum pretty well.
I meant to get on UKY, but we got pulled into taking care of her and I kind of abandoned UKY for a while. She cried painfully constantly for her early months and struggled for several months until we finally figured out she has a milk protein intolerance. Thankfully we had good help from our doctors, paediatricians, dieticians, etc, and all is great now. I've had to go dairy free since I'm breastfeeding, so I quickly learned that milk is hidden in EVERYTHING. Once I adjusted, we suddenly had the happiest, sweetest little cherub. She's delightful, which was such a relief after months of near non-stop tears. We just love having her as part of our family!
