Ooooh I knew how this would go when I saw the title.  I groaned and thought "Oh no, someone actually asked THAT question."  It's scary stuff.  Never ever eva will that stuff even get on a fork, spoon or knife.  No way.

My mom and I were talking about this very topic as both Germany and Spain have similar things to Black Pudding.  I can so understand why this would gross people out.

I grew up on the stuff so it does not bother me.  So someone hand me some Morcilla!

I find SpagettiO's to be much more vile.  Oh and Spam!  BLEAH!

Haggis is traditionaly eaten on Burns Night & washed down with a very large gold watch (scotch in cockney slang)

Black pudding is a North of England concoction.

Christmas pudding,  dunno where that surfaced.

All 3 are very heavy and cloying to eat. Not for the faint hearted or me either

I definitely eat haggis, but wont touch black pudding.

White pudding is lovely, though.  And fruit pudding!  (This is not what you would think... it's a 'sausage' of cereal, suet, spices & dried fruit... to be fried and served with breakfast.)
And cloutie dumpling is nice too... it's a bit like Christmas pudding but spiced differently, and less sticky.  This is eaten fried with breakfast as well.

I just dont get it when people complain about the food here... i think it's fab!
