Can someone reccomend a nice, inexpensive B&B in Bath?
« on: June 06, 2005, 01:03:56 AM »
Please?

I am a student, so I can spend about £40 a day. I would like a historic place, and I would *love* a Georgian one!

Thank you :).

Let's take our wigs off in the shopi aisle and fight it out.

Best site ever if you don't get any personal recommendations. Used them for years and have never had a bad or iffy experience.

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying:
"I will try again tomorrow"

Bath is an expensive city, so you might have trouble finding something right in Bath for £40 a day. But do look! You never know! Now is a good time of the year to go -- not school holidays, etc. -- so prices might be more reasonable.

The BF and I went to Bath for my birthday weekend back in March and stayed here:

It was great!! Victorian, not Georgian, but very beautiful. And it's run by an American woman! That's not why I booked there -- but it was a nice surprise to find out! She's also a vegetarian, so all the breakfasts are veggie, organic, etc., if that's important to you.

If you feel like splurging, I highly recommend Marlborough House!
