hi ya guys and gals

hello everyone
Would like to introduce myself>>>>jools here!!!
I recently married a man from the uk and he has moved here to the us....
actually i think he has also added his name to this site.....mogsy i love ya sweetheart!
well we live now in louisiana (swampland usa)
mogsy had a just a small hump to get over as for moving here and the culture differance (actually i thought he was gonna starve) but things seem to be going good and it looks a little easier for him now!
when he found the site we just briefly went through the forum and seen the one dicussion on differances in the cultures....(  [smiley=laugh4.gif]we never laughed/laffed so hard) we going through the same thing here haha  [smiley=laugh.gif]anyways we have been together now married for 6 months and hubby is going through the  paper work etc.    hope to meet some real cool people here and have a few laughs....and most of all maybe learn a few things about the culture differances that hubby and i maybe never noticed yetlol well hope to chat to ya all soon>>>>>>>>>>>jools

Hiya Jools, very nice to meet you and say hello to mogsy too.  Welcome to the boards, I'm sure you'll find lots to laugh about and yet you'll also have some good advice to give out.  I don't think anyone lives in or has moved to the Louisiana area before.  So it will be interesting to hear your version of Mogsy's adjustments and of course to hear his views as well.  I bet the heat gets to him!  lol

Any plans on ever moving over here??

As for moving i see myself trying to get things straight (paperwork wise )here first lol one thing at a time....but you never know i could be living in the uk sooner than i think....i'll be happy living anywheres with this man...

oo and the first words uttered out of mogsys mouth straight off the plane was IT"S HOT HERE! lol and he was sweating....

Welcome to the boards, but most importantly, congratulations on your marriage!  I'll bet the LA heat made him want to hop right back onto the plane lol...He probably also took a beating in food as well, especially from creole dishes  The US has a lot to offer, and LA especially.  I wish you both mucho happiness.
