a couple of weeks ago I bought a new skipping rope that has a counter....I wake up in the morning and try to do a few more than what I did the day before. Recently DH has been quietly using it....now it's become a little unsaid competition.

"how many did you do?"

"Dunno , 150"

"oh"

(20 minutes later - sounds of skipping can be heard in the garden)

But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

OOOOOH.  SKIP IT!!!!!  this is a girly version, mine had a counter

my daughter would love one of those ...she's got her own jumping rope but she's having trouble doing it and gets miffed. She's also a mean personal trainer :(

"how many skips was that?"
"30"
"that's rubbish , chhaya can do 80 you're not very good at that"
"how many can YOU do then"
(rolls eyes and stomps back into the house)

 :P
