Papa Johns
« on: August 28, 2003, 08:58:55 PM »
Just finished a nice big Papa John's dinner, and it tasted exactly exactly like it did in America - I'm so pleased! Of course we're moving tomorrow out of the area, PJ was a late find for us, but it's so nice! I went to their website, www.papajohns.co.uk and it looks like there are a lot of them around - see if theres one near you. :)
I'm done moving. Unrepatriated back to the UK, here for good!

I *love* Papa Johns!  (Cheese sticks....mmmmmmm!!!!)

According to the website, there isn't one near me, but there is a Perfect Pizza, which seems to be an affiliate...anybody try them?

thanks for the web address, marlespo!

i had heard perfect pizzas were going to be taken over by papa john's some time ago. looking at the website, there's no papa john's near me but they list a perfect pizza. anyone know what the difference is? i though the pp's were going to be rebranded.  other than name, i hope there's no difference!

We have a Papa John's driving distance, but not delivery distance.  Haven't made it there yet - though my 15-year-old is chomping at the bit to!

My Mum informed me today that there is a Papa Johns in delivery distance of her house in Hitchin...so it looks like they're really getting ready to expand!

Also, there web site has some contest where you could win 2500 pounds for suggesting a location..something to check into, those of you waiting!

Had a YUMMO Papa Johns pizza Sunday night (we are lucky there is one near us in Islington). I ate all 4 whole jalepenos that came with it. YUM. I think I enjoyed those jalepenos even more than the Krispy Kreme I'd had the day before. Papa Johns AND Krispy Kreme in one weekend I swear this married to an American thing is getting to me .......:)

We had one of those too, Wish and were kind of disappointed.  It was ok, but not Papa John's.

Unbelievably old thread but just had to tell everyone that they finally opened a Papa Johns near us that delivers and that was what he had for our first dinner in our new house (with no furniture or anything we had to eat on the floor but it was still nice).

And Jon knows this is my favorite pizza joint in the whole wide world so he's even set up an account on their website so we can just order from there next time. Silly. He's just happy to have those jalepeno peppers they put in there.

I like those peppers they put in with the pizza too - and the garlic sauce!

Pizza Hut had always been my favourite pizza in the States, until Papa John's came along.  Their spinach alfredo pizza is sooooooo good, as well as the "normal" pizza.

I was happy when one opened up in Loughborough over two years ago. Jamie and I went there once a week, usually.  But - and we haven't yet been able to find out why - a few months ago it closed. :(  So, now we have to make do with Pizza Hut.
I was born in the Summer and at Night...my mother named me AUTUMN DAWN.  True story.

Jamie's...beyond the stars and past eternity.

EMAIL or PM me for information about gigs or about booking me (solo gig) or the band.
