I especially hate it when you bust your rump and give lots of extra effort and still have to explain why you didn't do more.

Sounds more than just  a little familiar!

False. I found a perfume I love (Amarige by Givenchy) 15 years ago, and it's the only one I wear. I sometimes think I should try a variety, but I love it too much. ;D

TPBM loves a big, fat, juicy dill pickle. :)

I do!  ;D

TPBM has a herb garden.

Nooooo! But I don't have a home for a couple days. So I'll be working on it once settled! (and I want one!)

TPBM has childhood memories of eating veggies out of the garden.

Oh my gosh, no!  My parents wouldn't know a thing about gardening and my dad hated vegetables anyway.  We had a *lawn* not a garden.

TPBM used a lawnmower as a kid.

Oh yes!  Whenever I was expected to do 'boys work' (outdoor stuff like gardening, washing the car, mucking out stables) my dad would jokingly start calling me 'Travis' instead of 'Tracey' and I knew I was down to do some dirty work... lawn-mowing was definitely part of it.

TPBM enjoys reading 'agony aunt' columns in magazines and papers.

Sometimes.

TPBM loves watermelon.
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

I can't remember the last time I had watermelon.  But good, sweet watermelon--yes.  Pale flavorless watermelon--no.

TPBM uses a backpack rather than a suitcase when travelling.

False, unless it is for one or two nights. Otherwise, I try to pack everything I have ever owned, 'in case' I need it. That means I have to have the BIG suitcase.

TPBM has read more than one or two Dickens books.

No... I don't think I have read ANY Dickens!

TPBM prefers still drinks to fizzy drinks.

Nope. I need fizz.

TPBM has a favorite cocktail/drink/something to sip on when out. Please tell us what it is!

Had. Sniffle... The jungle (combat) boots I bought in '93 ('94?) that I have worn the heck out of. I finally accepted they weren't worth carting back to the States, so when we moved earlier this year I tossed them with a few last word said for them. Looks like a trip to Army Surplus when we get back to Indiana is in my future. Yay! They were comfy and worked as well with skirts and dresses as they did for jeans.

TPBM has a favourite handbag.

That sounds like me!  :D

I still pine for the boots I had when I first met Mr MLG. He hated them, as they were falling apart even when we met.  :-\\\\

No, no favourite handbag, though I used to collect vintage ones.   ;)

TPBM has something planned for the May bank holiday.

We may be visiting friends in Masham.

TPBM has a pair of 'lucky' socks.

Out of the 'at least' 70 pair, not counting plain black or white, I have, I don't think any are lucky. :( That includes the pair with shamrocks and four leaf clovers all over them.

TPBM has a tried and true method for combating cabin fever.
