False. I don't think we have really thought much about it. With our upcoming move in four weeks, and a few last minute gatherings with friends for 'one last night out', and our send off party, we have more than enough parties for such a short time.

TPBM gets a big camera crazy now that it is so easy (and cheap) to store pics on the computer or online instead of paying to print them out.

No, I never seem to take *enough* pictures.

TPBM has to work on the Jubilee Tuesday bank holiday.  :(

False, since I never did find a job here. :( I do feel for anyone who has to work, because when I worked in the States, I had jobs where it seemed like I worked a lot of holidays.

TPBM will still occasionally use memory tricks they learned in school - for example, Roy G. Biv, to remember the colors of the rainbow - when they need to remember things.

Yes! 30 days has September, April, June and November.... I have to count months a lot in my job, so I use this one all the time!

TPBM has a green thumb.

I'd call it pale green. I do okay with most things, but I have sworn I will never murder another fern or African violet. I just can't do them. Poor things always die quickly in my care, no matter how hard I try.

TPBM has one indulgence you enjoy too much to tell yourself 'no' to. (Whether a food, hot baths, reading when you should be sleeping, etc.)

True, mostly. False, in that I have just one. :P Lately, though, it's been salt and vinegar chips (gah, crisps! :) ). I can't get enough of them. They're amazing here. But also, Camembert, "Frasier", and walks by the lake.

TPBM has something they collect for fun.

True: I would say I collect lots of makeup and nail polish. But since I'm a makeup artist, I guess that's to be expected ;)

False. It's never really interested me. I'm the exact opposite of an adrenaline junkie: I hate the feeling of too much adrenaline, even when it comes from something fairly simple like having to accomplish a lot on a busy day. It's like having 200 cups of coffee, which I also don't like. :P

TPBM has a favourite TV show that was canceled far too early.

We seem to have a lot of them get cancelled. One that I really hated to see go was 'The Chicago Code'. Seems to me all the 'real' shows are being cancelled for reality and contest shows, and soon there won't be any left.

TPBM has been to more than five amusement parks (anywhere in the world counts).

TPBM: Is addicted to reality tv

I wouldn't say they are now my favourite, but we have just discovered The Real McKenzies, and are listening to all we can. Scottish punk!

TPBM has a good trick for staying cool with no air conditioning.

Well, even when the Brits say it's 'roasting', it's only in the mid-high 70s which is downright cool by Philadelphia summer standards, so don't ever need even a fan in the UK (except at work which has one small window and we use a steamer, so need a fan).

In Philly, there was no substitute for AC in the summer.

TPBM is now sleeping with the bedroom window open.

True. Well, it was. We slept with the window open, but woke to a massive spider on the desk, so it's shut now. That's the thing about gorgeous sunny days here - it's so tempting to open the window and let the breeze in, but it also lets in spiders, wasps, bees, what have you. Why has no one introduced screens in this country? :P

TPBM is a hoopy frood who knows where his or her towel is at. (Or one who knows what I'm talking about. Happy Towel Day!)

True. I ALWAYS know where my towel is. I'm just dork enough to throw one in the suitcase each time I travel, just to have it with me.  ;D

TPBM would love to have window screens.

Same with Indiana. Air conditioning or misery. I am fine outside here, and most places are fine with windows open. MIL and FIL rarely find it hot enough for them to open the windows, so it is stuffy in here. We have our window open, neighbour permitting  ::) but it is still stuffy in this room. Even when it was COLD out in Feb, it was stuffy in here.
