Need help with shipping
« on: June 13, 2005, 09:41:29 PM »
ughh - I posted on two other branches before I found this one, which is obviously where I should be.

My husband and I are moving to Surrey in August, where  I have a 2 year teaching contract at an international school.  We are absolutely thrilled.

The time has come to begin packing up and shipping boxes, but I don't know where to begin.

We are in the San Francisco Bay area and will be shipping mostly books, files and teaching supplies - nothing big like furniture.  There is no urgent need for it to get there quickly.

Does anyone have advice on the most economical way to do this?

Thanks for your help.

Hi. I recall some others recommending USPS as they have a book rate for things like that and its supposed to be very reasonable as well as dependable. Hope this helps! :)
