I keep getting a negative AGI on the US taxes
« on: June 14, 2005, 03:24:28 PM »
Yes, it's down to the wire! :)

I keep getting a negative AGI when I'm going through Turbo Tax.  My suspicion is the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion.  But I have no idea how to correct this.

Anyone else have this problem?

TIA.

Always a view, never a response. ;)

For completion sake, it appears it was the foreign earned income exclusion giving me a negative AGI.  Not sure what the IRS is going to do with it, if anything.  It might be the self employment deduction as well, throwing income into the negative.

Off to the post office!

Did you have someone to file your taxes in the states?
Did they file your taxes for a few yrs?
Ask them for help.
Taxes BEWARE.
Had to just give you a potential idea.
