But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

Sex?!  What's that?  Oh, right.  Have a vague recollection of that from somewhere . . .  ;D

Yes! That and there was this mexican fast food place called Naugles that was open 24/7. I used to ask DH to go get me a cheese burrito with sour cream and a large ice cold milk. I have never seen another pure cheese burrito served anywhere else. It was pure fat heaven! :)

We had a 24-hour Naugles in the next town to where i grew up... it was brilliant!  Your cheese & sour cream burrito sounds gorgeous... i used to always get their combination (beef & bean) burrito, with sour cream.

Oh, and just to try to keep this on topic.... why is it that pregnant women have cravings for things?  Anyone know?

And also sometimes you crave the things you need-calcium, iron, postassium, liquids.

I've heard (and read) about how some women crave things like dirt, charcoal, and laundry detergent powder! :o  But, there again, it goes back to craving what the body needs; it's because they are deficient in some nutrients and when that becomes severe the cravings can become extreme, as well.  With my first pregnancy I started getting mouth ulcers because the baby was taking all my vitamin c and zinc.  I just started mega-dosing c and taking a zinc supplement and the mouth ulcers went away.  Neither did I ever crave strange combinations of foods, but that is quite common for some women.  Like having ice cream with pickles, that sort of thing.

Ice, lots of ice, and anything frozen, mostly popsicles.

How do you crave these things? Would you not need to have tried them before to crave them? Not sure about anyone else but I have not tried laundry detergent powder, is it good?

Don't know why they crave it...they just do - or, so I was told by a midwife.

Anywho, even though I am taking zinc to control cravings (it also minimises stretch marks - YAY), I still seem to have one, but it is not an unhealthy one....so, I suppose it's OK that I can't get enough: TOMATO JUICE!

They're getting even more intense.  For salty, crunchy, savoury foods.  Mmmm.  Kebab sounds heavenly.
