My son has it, he had it bad on his face when he was a baby. Eumobase cream worked wonders. You can get it from the pharmacies. Also, one G.P. recommended Doublebase cream, but you get that on prescription. That works wonders as well.

I have a small patch on my arm which I developed right after having Jack. I thought at first it was caused by his sweaty little baby head resting on my arm while I was feeding him because thats exactly where the spot is but a year later and its still there. I scratch so hard sometimes I draw blood. I have put everything on it and nothing seems to help but just yesterday I was doing a lot of work in the garden and my arms and shoulders got a lot of sun. The itchy patch seems to be fine today. Weird.

Yours might be psoriasis, Pebbles. I have that on my elbows and the sun clears it up pretty quickly! Of course, it comes right back on the first cloudy day, but still ... Just a thought!

I use Dovonex. Probably the same stuff. Cleared up some of it, but other patches are there to stay.

My Mum uses E45 for her excema and swears by it. To listen to her, you'd think it was a miracle cream  :-\\\\

Wow, just spent the day with my friend and her daughter and my friend has terrible Eczema on her hands and feet! (She was wearing gloves on her hands while driving and socks with her sandals as well, so I asked her)  I am going to pass this info on to her!!!

Well, this is a problem we often encounter at the healthfood shop where I work.  First off, you need to cut out dairy (if you eat it), this is the number one culprit of eczema.  An intolerance to dairy (or any other food) can happen at any time, so it matters not if you have been lactose tolerant in the past.  It takes three months for dairy to get fully out of your system, so you have to be diligent in avoiding it.  I'm not disputing that this is auto-immume, it is, and, you can help that out by getting on some Echinaforce tincture by a company called Bioforce (you will find it in independant healthfood shops).  Also, their Calendula Complex will help, as well.  It has Calendula and Viola Tricolor in it, which will soothe the irritation, calm the redness, and take care of the root issues by detoxing the lymph glands.  In the interim, if that stuff you got from the States doesn't take care of the itch as much as you would like, try Grandma Vine's Antiseptic Gel (also found at your local, independant healthfood shop).  It is a brilliant product which puts a protective, breathable layer down on the skin while effectively stopping the itch so you won't scratch it; it stops the "itch/scratch cycle".

Best advice I, as a practitioner of natural health, I can give you.  Let us know how you get on....
