Cities in Scotland?

Does the East end have crime problems or is it just ugly therefore you wouldn't recommend it?

We'll look into the west end, and southside. After peeking around some more on those websites I see that those areas are lovely and definitely worth considering should we move to Glasgow. We already know that we will be moving it's just a matter of when. Thankfully we are both EU citizens (I recently received Swedish) so a move to the UK will not have visa issues for us. That's one less hurdle to have.
