Ice Cream Makers

I'm a bit late to this party, but Delicious mag. just did a review of ice cream makers (in the July issue - not sure if it's still on the stands.) Their fav. was the Magi Mix Gelato Chef 2200 Ice Cream and Sorbet Maker. The bad news is that it's a truly staggering £285!  Next highest ratings (8/10) were the Gaggia Gelatiera Ice Cream Maker at an UNREAL £335 (good lord) and the much more modestly priced (£39.95) Chilly Ice Cream Maker..... The ones they liked LEAST (5/10 and 6/10 respectively) were the Panasonic EZ Ice Cream Maker and the Rival Gel Disc Ice Cream Maker.

Just ordered it last night.  But it says "Fits neatly in any kitchen"  So seems to be good.

Maybe you could just permanently store it in the freezer - that way it'll always be frozen and you wouldn't have to pre-plan.... You could keep frozen peas in it!
