Hmmm, I wonder how hard it is to make ice cream without the maker yet!?

I friend who keeps turning up her nose at me every time I threaten to buy an ice cream maker. She makes hers without and it's actually delicious! She just uses a huge bowl in the freezer. You have to keep taking it out and stirring well, but it can be done!

The ice cream maker i bought has a battery in it, so you just pop it into the freezer, and it does the stirring for you.

The ice cream came out really well... hard as a rock, but im thawing it a bit so we can scoff it.

Cool.  Question, what kind of battery?  Just curious because they are discontinuing the maker at lakeland so I want to be sure I can get another one.

She only asks because in our town Boots is right next to Lakeland.   ;)  She's trying to save her self any extra walking.

Yeah, i think they're a pretty standard camera battery...
