Any visa's like BUNAC????

I just spend six months in the UK on a BUNAC visa, and now I want to come back...ASAP. I have no reason to stay in the USA. Are there any other options? Thanks!

Find an employer to sponsor a work permit?  Enroll in graduate school?  There aren't many other options.

I was offered a permanent position from my previous employer in the UK, but I turned it down to come back to the USA and go to Uni. (I can't afford school in the UK  ) Huge mistake! I've been so unhappy ever since I've been back. I think I'm going to try to follow up my other job offer. It was for a huge company and I was only doing general admin stuff, so I'm not sure how much effort they would put into getting my visa.

FWIW, I'd suggest you stay in the US and complete university.  It's cheaper, and having a degree will make it much easier to find sponsorship for a work permit (though it'll still be difficult).  Also, having a degree usually means that you'll be able to find a decent job in the US, which means you'll have money to visit the UK whenever you want....you might not end up living here, but at least you'll be able to visit!     If nothing else, you can come over here for grad school....you'll still have to pay international tuition, but that might lead to a job here!

let me know if you find out because i have been looking for a year and a half and i can't find a way in.  i still miss it everyday 

    I've applied to come back to England to do a missionary/internship program. If I get it, I'll be back in the UK in August. (YIKES!) I filled in my application on Saturday night, and had an e-mail from them this morning. Their normal cut-off date for international applicants is May, but they need more people so i might get in anyway. The main problem right now is processing my visa stuff in time. If I don't get it this year, then I'll apply for next year.
    The other lodger living in the house I was living at in Manchester did it this past year, so that's how I found out about it.
    I'm really thrilled.  I'll be working with social-concern youth, or helping with kids groups, or doing drama. This is something I would want do in the USA, it's just a huge bonus that it's in the UK.

Is this like a regular internship program? My boyfriend is trying to find some sort of internship to get him over here on a long term basis (and we need help!!!)  But his field is more graphic art etc

I know you get a certificate at the end of it. But it is very Christian/church/missions oriented. You have to be willing to pretty much give up your life for a year. It's not a paid position, but the church you are based at provides food/shelter/transportation. You can expect to work 40-60 hours a week, no going to pubs/clubs...there are a lot of strict rules they enforce because they want everyone to stay focused on the missions part of it.

I got accepted to the program!!!! Now I'm waiting on my visa stuff to process. I have this awful feeling that my visa's going to get denied/not come through in time. If it doesn't, I'm going back to university this year and i'll try again for next year.
