I would have to agree, as to someone who has never been out of the US before, I know that when I arrive in the UK I am probably going to to so nervous and figidity that they are gonna think I am on "speed" :).  That terrifies me that the IO could decide oh you don't need to enter today and send me back with my family on another 10 hour flight.  I just don't think that I would be so blaze about something like entering a foreign country.

But reading seagoddess's other posts on the forum I just beleive that this is her personality and some people may find is less than appealing.

It's one thing to joke around on the forum but to give advice to someone and say "Do this because it works" is a different ball game.  The OP hasn't been back to explain his situation further which I think says plenty about it all.  His situation isn't a laughing matter.  It's irresponsible to give humourous advice to someone seeking a solution to a serious legal matter.  :-\\\\
Love your life, poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poorhouse. The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the almshouse as brightly as from the rich man’s abode; the snow melts before its doors as early in the spring. Cultivate property like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Turn the old; return to them. Things do not change; we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts…

I think that most people that are asking questions or are needing help really want sound advice and ideas of what to do, how to proceed ect.  For the most part I know that most everyone on the forum has been extremely helpful to my questions but there have been the few that feel the need to cross the line or just be a SA$$.

Most of the time when I go through Immigration clearance when I travel you get quite nice folks maybe it's because I am travelling with a little one so they will say something pleasant..I can't imagine working there (More power to them) imagine how many times you'll get someone going through immigration thinking "Hey I'll make a light joke to get the guy on my side" ..urgh. Cuz levity worked a treat for that 22 year old brit in FL saying she had a bomb in her lugagge ....she must of had her prison mates rolling in the isles :-X

It was bad enough while working in the adult wards when you get a patient saying "what did I do to get  such a cute nurse"[smiley=puke.gif] hoooo, haven't heard that before...you going for originally there :P
But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

Actually, after seeing this sort of thing happen all the time, I think the reason the OP may not have come back is because they didn't like the serious answers they got.  We have had all sorts of one-shot posters here asking about illegal situations, and when they don't get told that everything will be okay and such, they start looking elsewhere for "warm fuzzies."

But I agree 100% that it is highly irresponsible to suggest anyone joke going through immigration.

Contact an attorney/solicitor. You break the law you pay the consequences. You are both very irresponsible as has already been said.

*phew*

We shouldn't be touching this, should we?

As a human being he may have moods and a will and personal aims, but as an artist he is 'man' in a higher sense - he is 'collective man', a vehicle and molder of the unconscious psychic life of mankind"
