I did it with The Goblet of Fire  .  I felt like a nutter, driving over there, but then I saw lots of other nutters like me in the queue and I didn't feel so bad.  It was worth it, too!   

As far as I know, no release date yet, but I will take the next day off, whenever it is.  I did for The Half Blood Prince.  So did another work colleague. 

I think Harry's gonna snuff it if her publisher lets her, and take Voldy w/him.

The current rumor is it'll be released on July 7 of next year.  Not only would it be 7/7/07 (great marketing idea), but it will also be a weekend.  Not to mention that the OotP film will be out that fall.

Of course, that's just what I've heard.

i'm re-reading the series.  i think ron's gonna snuff it, and harry's going to get together w/hermoine.  or ron's going to cop it, and hermoine's going to marry krum.

i'd guess hagrid's going to cop it, too.  all he's got is that pink umbrella to use instead of a wand.  not good.

Yeah, I kind of think Hagrid's a goner as well.  Honestly, though, I don't think it would tear me apart inside if he did.

You really think Ron will?  I'm still not sure about him, but I'm absolutely certain Mrs. Weasley won't live out the next book.  That will kill me, but I think it's unavoidable.  The Weasleys luck is quickly running out, and she is the heart and soul of that clan.  On the positive side, I'm fairly confident Ginny will make it through.

I really should start reading them again.  I think I'm going to start in the middle, though.  I've got an urge to read Prisoner of Azkaban (of course, it is my favorite!).

Ginny's definitely going to pull through.  So is Neville.  I think he's going to waste Bella for what she did to his parents.  Draco?  It's hard to say.  One of the Weasleys is going to have to cop it, tho.  It can't be Bill, of course, b/c he's already been chewed up by Greyback.  It might be Ron.  That would make sense, b/c Voldemort has taken everyone that Harry loved, that's why he broke it off w/Ginny.  But Hermoine is a lot like his mother -  her strength in charms and potions, in particular, she's Muggle born. 

Snape?  It's hard to say. 

Nah, I say Draco's pushing up daisies before the book is half over.  What else could happen to him?  Harry (finally) has irrefutable proof that he's a Death Eater, so there's no sanctuary for him there.  He's failed at the task Voldemort set for him, which we all know doesn't sit well with You-Know-Who.  Unless Snape, for some inexplicable reason, takes him under his wing... he's toast.  His parents can't help him at this point either.

Snape will live out the series.  The one thing that JKR has done is keep the series somewhat in the real world, i.e. realistic evil not fairy tale evil.  We all know Voldemort will be vanquished in some way, but evil will continue.  It has to; why else would she bring up Grindelwald?.  I think Snape, along with a few others, will still be around at the end of the book.  I've been enjoying playing around with my Snape theories, though, so I could be completely overthinking all of this.

But Snape is sworn to protect Draco now.  So if Voldy has a go at killing him, won't Snape have to step in? 

K, in the Order of the Phoenix, when Harry has that vision of Arthur Weasley's attack, he sees it from the snake's perspective.  He said he feels he has a snake inside him.  So that leads me to believe that whole theory that he is a horcrux.  And so in Nagini.  Cuz they've already know of 4, and Voldemort, of course, has to keep a piece of his soul to himself.  And it would tie in w/Harry being connected to Godric Gryffindor, too.
