1. Waffles (the flour kind)
2. Waffle makers
3. Selection of maple syrups (although this isn't so bad now that rain sent me a bottle of immitation maple)
4. Selection of frozen Mexican entrees

Isn't it funny that after five years I still yearn for a good Mexican dinner? I've even learned to make quite a few Mexican dishes but it's not the same as hitting a restaurant or even - dare I say it? - Taco Bell.

Hiya Twisted.......

You can get Waffle makers at Lakeland on line or Boots on line. The one that is on Boots looks to be the same model as the one on Lakeland, much cheaper. I bought mine about 5 years ago and paid about £45.00 and the last time I looked it was £20.00 on Boots. They make heart shapey waffles.

Our local health food does a great pancake and waffle mix...they import it from Vermont. It is called Highland Sugarworks Buttermilk pancake and waffle mix...they do it in regular, blueberry and apple cinammon. My hubby loves it.......it is the only he will eat..I have ordered Aunt Jemima before and he says it taste to eggy.....

I would be happy to get some and ship to you if you like! From the Isle of Man to you shouldn't be to bad.....
This is open to anyone that would like some! They also have canadian maple syrup! So I can supply 3 out of your 4  ;D

Funny I fixed waffles and bacon this morning for brekkie!

I didn't realise it was so hard for people to find maple syrup! I'm out in the middle of nowhere, and it's usually me who has trouble finding stuff ... but even our local village Londis shop/P.O. has real Canadian maple syrup! Yum!

Can't you just make your own waffle and/or pancake mix? I've never used a pre-mixed one. It's a pretty basic thing to do!

I did have a lovely bottle of chilled Beaujolais the other day! Shhhh... don't tell Anne!

Okay, I won't tell her if you won't ;)

Hellooooooooo, I'm standing RIGHT HERE. LOL. I'm choosing to rise above your immature and low-self-esteem driven comments.  ;)

OK, my four:

1. Eggo waffles (I know, I know... but they're my comfort food.)
2. Krusteaz mixes - fat-free buttermilk pancake and low-fat muffin mixes.
3. Tollhouse morsels
4. Coffee from the Santa Cruz Coffee Roasting Company

Thanks for the tip MeShell. Unfortunately what I'm yearning for is one of those heavy four-square waffle irons - the ones that got super hot  on the outside and dripped batter all over the place and made the most superlative waffles ever. Barring that, though . . . I may have to get myself one of the little heart-shaped ones ;D

Syrup . . . I can find maple syrup easily enough - I'm on about the big bottles of Aunt Jemima or Log Cabin - they tasted so yummy when I was a child and they last more than one sitting. With five in my household the little bottles of syrup I can get here don't last very long.
I know I'm late - where's the booze?

Oh my God! Krusteaz!!! That mix was about the cheapest one going and my mom always bought it for easy pancakes/waffles on the weekends. Wow - that's a blast from the past.

Eggo waffles as well - *sigh*

This one looks good ... if you happen to have a spare £250 lying around.  :-\\\\

Yeah I know the one I have isn't any thing like the one I had in the US.......
 :(

I have found one that I would ABSOLUTELY love and it makes Mickey Mouse shaped waffles...(only available in the US)..I am Disney Mad......... [smiley=mickey.gif].....that is my specialty at work as well.....I'm a certified Disney Specialist..My colleagues call me Minnie.....I have it all over my house.......my Xmas tree is nothing but Disney....

I think Cybercandy has the Aunt Jemima syrup.........they are kinda of expensive.......alot of the online import food places are.......whenever I buy stuff from them I horde it and use it sparingly.....or forget where I have stashed it!

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

Baxter's makes an amazing bean & bacon soup.  Can you get Baxter's soups outside Scotland?

I buy it in a pinch, but mostly just make my own these days b/c I have a slow cooker.

I can get Baxters, but haven't seen the Bean & Bacon, even at the "big" Sainsburys we shop at.  I buy Sainsbury's Lentil & Bacon and that's okay.  But it's not condensed soup, so I can't "cook" with it.

1. decent frozen blueberries

Don't you have fresh blueberries? They're easy to freeze if you want them in the winter-time.
