passport address question for visa application..
« on: July 21, 2005, 08:47:06 PM »
I live in the US and am moving over to England in September to be with my (soon to be) husband (spousal visa) but I have recently moved addresses locally here in Arizona. Im wondering what to do about my address on my drivers license and on my passport, since it is my old one. Do I HAVE to change these before I apply for my visa? How do I even do about changing my passport address, through the post office where I applied for it? Does it take a long time (will I have enough time between now and sept?)  Im nervous!
married my husband and moved to england sept 2005, moved back to USA sept 2008

You don't have to be stressed about having your USA addresses perfectly synchronized, your citizenship is sufficient for what they need to know.  So just use your most recent address where you can be contacted by snail mail.

It's important to remember that you are going for a settlement visa in the UK and consequently abandoning your life in the USA, so it is natural that there will be some inconsistencies and vagueness as a result of that.

So it's really nothing at all to get nervous about.
