yup yup yup

the first 'meal' dave made me when i moved here.  i love it!

i'm not a fan of the soggy bread (evne when you toast it) but i love the beans.  dave shakes a tiny bit of balsamic vinegar into the WW Heinz beans.

MMMMMMMMM.

I looove beans on toast!! Especially when camping! Be careful, though! (Beans, beans, the musical fruit, etc., etc.)

I haven't tried the balsamic vinegar trick, but will definitely do it next time I have them!

P.S. Soggy toast is the best! ;D

Oh man - beans on toast is fab!  Especially with some HP sauce on it...and with some chunky sliced cheddar between the toast & the beans so it melts all creamy and gooey....

Okay, back to my beef & stilton pasty.  ;D

a few drops of vinegar in the beans whilst heating will balance out their nitrogen content.

No, I have never heard of it before. I thought it was something Frank invented as he puts everything on bread. Chips, chisps, fish fingers, beans, etc. He also puts brown sauce on nearly everything!

I havent tried beans on jacket potatoes yet. I really enjoy a nice potato with butter and sour cream but I have never been into all the toppings.

I used to eat in the US on occasion, but it's not a common thing over there. They do sell baked beans in tins in US supermarkets, but most contain pork. There are vegetarian versions available, though, but you have to look for tins that specifically say they're veggie.

I've had beans and hot dogs ..but not on toast. My ex made it as a meal with grated cheese and some lea and perrins sprinkled on top. quite yummy.
But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

I used to use the Heinz veggie beans in the US.
