BLAH! I just cant do sunny side up eggs. [smiley=puke.gif]
I dont care much for eggs under the best of circumstances but if I have them they must be scrambled DRY. And no burnt butter on them.

Now this is funny, I can only eat fried/griddled eggs with breakfast food ( I'd never have egg and chips for example) and I can't stand omelettes or scrambled.  Omelettes, especially the ones with  bits of red & green peppers in it, make me heave....

No beans on toast for this Yank either.  YUCK!

Double YUCK! Couldn't eat them in the states when they were called Pork 'n Beans and still can't eat them here under the disguise of being Baked Beans.

Bean on Toast with LOADS of marg on the toast and loads of grated cheese on the beans.  When finished have another slice of bread to wipe up all the left over sauce - mmmmmm.

Staple diet of the man on his own (well this man anyway) - I see that changing in 13 days when Andrea arrives ;) - bit I will still have my secret stash of baked beans  ;D

I like beans on toast. I don't like soggy toast though so I toast my bread in the oven on a really low heat so it gets crunchy. Yum. :P

Ooh onto the "perfect cooked breakfast thread"

Eggs (sunny side up)
Bacon (semi crispy)
Mushrooms (in butter, lots of )
Sausages (I like herby ones)
Saute Potatoes/home fries with lots of black pepper on
1 slice toast (for egg spillage on top)
1 slice bread/butter for bacon/egg sarnie

*tummy now rumbling*

Scrambled eggs for me, 'fried' eggs for DH
Rashers - well done and crispy
Baked beans
Grilled 'tomaties' and mushrooms
a few bangers
buttery toast
Loads of coffee

There must be Cholula chili sauce for me, HP sauce for DH's fragile Scottish tummy.

I find runny eggs the boak.  My mom loves them, however.  She also likes them poached.  YUK.

Quite right, Jmaster.  We use an iron skillet and fry the bread after everything's been cooked.  Then butter it up!

YUMMY! My grandmother used to make it that way when I was a kid!! It's been years since I have had fried bread from a iron skillet!

The trick is to use the thick or even extra thick sliced bread!  Yum!

Lunar,

This is totally off topic, I just had to say that your child is adorable in the pictures. What a great smile!

Double Ditto!

HATE baked beans......

Hubby likes them on toast with grated cheese.........blak.....not only do they stink they make him STINK later as well..pwew..

Best way I like making eggs is fried with Pam cooked on one side and then flipped and lightly cooked on the other side but with the middle still runny.......

and then serve that up on fried bread out of a iron skillet.......mmmm
