Does anyone know where you can watch US sports in London?  Been here only 6 days and I already miss baseball.

Try the Sport Cafe on Haymarket just down from Piccadilly Circus tube station.

Channel 5 has ESPN's Sunday night game... showing live at 2am.  They also show Monday  Night Football for when you need your Madden fix in October.
Love your life, poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poorhouse. The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the almshouse as brightly as from the rich man’s abode; the snow melts before its doors as early in the spring. Cultivate property like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Turn the old; return to them. Things do not change; we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts…

I don't think so, but I know Tim Howard (American goalie for ManUre...i mean Manchester United   ;)) gets all the NY Giants games.  He got some arrangement (meaning pay a lot of money) to get it done by his provider.  But as he makes around 30000 quid a week, I'm sure it is chump change for him.

Other than that, you can subscribe to NASN and get some games.  This channel is not cheap either.

Hi there. . . .I'm an NASN subscriber and I can tell you that they show loads of baseball games, some of which are live. You never have a guarantee as to which team is going to be shown, but at least its something, right?  :) They also show some ESPN programs like "Around the Horn," "Rome is Burning," etc. . . .I believe the subscription is like £15 a month, but I'm not sure.

louisw, I sure hope so, since that is the main reason my husband and I have the  NASN subscription in the first place! (We're both avid college football fans, and being a USC alum, I will find a way to see this season's games in the hopes of a "three-peat"!  ;) ) Also, I know that you can subscribe to ESPN Gameplan on your PC. Again, I'm not sure of the cost, but I would guess its probably about $200 for a season of either Pro or College. Again, no guarantees on which teams are shown, but at least its something. . .The slingbox thing is a great idea. We will definitely look into that! Thanks for the heads up!

At this time, the slingbox only works on NTSC and cannot be adapted for the UK.  I spoke with a representative of Sling Media who indicated that they are planning a UK edition for next year.

What about radio? Can't you tune into a US radio station on your computer? I've always preferred baseball on the radio, anyway. :)

Maybe you can watch the games via your team's website? You can probably subscribe per season.

We have NASN it's £10.99 per month on top of your Sky subscription.

Also channel 5 shows a bit of US sport, but only a bit. In summer it shows mainly baseball two games a week. In winter it's usually NFL & NHL.
