Usually about $35, but last time I took a chance on my friend in beauty school and got a great haircut for $6! A French Mani brought my total cost to $12. :)

What's the nicest compliment someone's ever paid you?

On our wedding day, my husband told me I looked like a movie star  [smiley=blush.gif]

What is your favorite thing to do in the springtime?
On s'envolera du même quai
Les yeux dans les mêmes reflets,
Pour cette vie et celle d'après
Tu seras mon unique projet.

Je t'aimais, je t'aime, et je t'aimerai.

I couldn't say, really--I've gotten some good ones in my time--but recently my manager said my window display from a few weeks ago was "a revelation"!

What compliment have you given someone else recently (not counting partner or spouse or best friend)?

Cross posted with historyenne so the next person can answer mine or hers or both!  :)

Historyenne's question:  In just about any kind of reasonable weather my favorite thing to do outdoors is walking.

Andee's question:  I'm telling Andee that I enjoy her posts and her postive outlook on life. :)

What do you like to do to relax and unwind?

Well, the family cat we had when I was a very young child was named Pyewackett. The fist pet I had that just belonged to me was a Cockatiel named Peep, when I was about 8 years old.

Is there a weird food combo that you really like?

If we called them Sad Meals, no one would buy them.

I don't think I really have any...At least none that I think of as weird!  My husband would probably say apples and peanut butter... ::)

What is your favorite foods to bring on a picnic?
Even after all this time the sun never says to the Earth "You owe me."
Look what happens with a love like that, it lights the whole sky.

Lobster Rolls! Especially for picnics on the beach. And I'm just a month or two away from that kind of picnic! *bounce*

Oh lordy. That just won't do. Sorry!  :-[

What's the handiest thing you've ever done? (e.g. unclogged a toilet, changed the oil in a car, replaced drywall, built a house?)

I'm pretty handy, but the biggest job was probably when I laid a Pergo floor in my house (this included taking out/reinstalling the toilet). I also had to take up the crappy tile floor in the kitchen which was very stuck on.

Do you think you're more handy or crafty?

So much more crafty than handy. SO MUCH.

Do you and your significant other exchange cards as well as gifts?

We definitely exchange cards, and we usually exchange gifts.  We did cards for Valentine's Day but no gifts.  Our anniversary is next week and I think we'll just do cards.

Do you eat at least 5 servings a day of fruit and/or vegetables?
