When i was slim, i used to wear skirts 365 days a year, and i loved it.
Now that ive piled on the pounds, i wear trousers, but hope to be back in my skirts (and fishnets!) in the next few months to a year...

Do you use any sort of diet tracker, like FitDay, etc?

No - just the feel of how my clothes fit and my scale.  I figure if I'm happy with how I feel, it doesn't matter what the diet plan says.

Have you considered getting a new - or another - pet?

If I'm forced to eat fish, fried. But I really can't stand fish.

Would you rather read a book, or watch TV?

Read - we watch very very little TV at our house.  (So I never know about Big Brother, East Enders, etc etc -- any of the TV buzz that ppl are always talking about.  We do watch news, selected special programs or movies, and I like an occasional 'pikey TV' -- as hubs calls it -- episode of Wife Swap & such.)

Do you have a favourite TV program?

"Milo & Otis". We had a friend who managed the cinema - he let us in for free and we had the theatre to ourselves.  My mom must have been in her thirties and it was the first film she ever saw at a movie theatre (she grew up in a strict pastor's household with no TV.) I'm surprised she ever went to see another movie again!

Do you prefer to watch movies at a cinema or in the comfort of your own home?

Thats a tough one! At home, I am much more likely to get bored and get up to do something else. If I am in the theater though, I have paid money and will usually stick it out. Some films are better on the big screen as well, like Lord of the Rings. So I guess it depends!

If given a gift card, do you use them right away or do they rot in your wallet till you accidentally find them?

Depends...if it's for Borders Books or a store I like -- then it's usually spent right away.  When I lived in FL, someone gave me a Bealls gift card (FL dept store) -- that nearly rotted in my wallet b/c I never shopped there & when I went I couldn't find anything I wanted.

Do you enjoy receiving gift cards or vouchers as pressies?

I've traveled to California about once a year since I was 12 but that was to see my mom so I guess that doesn't count as "away from my immediate family". So, I'll have to go with last year when I traveled to England for the first time. It went great, though I am still amazed (but very happy) I actually did it!  ;D

Have you ever been someplace that just gave you an odd, eerie feeling you couldn't really explain?
