Hubby's teaching a green woodworking class this Saturday so I'll practice music on my own, then we'll practice together on Sunday 'cause we've got a gig coming up the following Sunday.  If it's sunny I'll fit in a walk as well.

Is there a song currently on the radio a lot that you hate?  What is it?

Really, it's not just one but anything by Lady Gaga drives me crazy.

What was the last movie you went to the theater to see?

We saw 'The Hangover'.

What is your favorite show to watch in reruns?

probably M.A.S.H. (the show not the movie)

Do you still listen to vinyl (as in LP's or 45's or maybe even 33 1/3)?
Still tired of coteries and bans. But hanging about anyway.

Whenever I get the chance.   We have a 78 player and some old 78 collections.  Hubby was a 78 record collector when he lived in Scotland but we have never managed to accumulate the collection again or the old players.  Those things are so expensive in America!  People really ask too much $$$ for stuff few people still enjoy...

Do you enjoy music from the 40s and 50s?

It depends.  Some stuff yes, some stuff (the sappy stuff from the 50's) no.

Do you like really old music like Medieval, Renaissance, etc?

I wouldn't necessarily say Medieval or Renaissance, but I've played in orchestra before and I do enjoy Classical music.

Keeping in on the music subject, What's/Who was the best live musical performance you've ever seen?

I've seen countless live performances over the past 30 years from punk to rock to traditional and folk in big arenas, small clubs and informal settings--it would be nearly impossible to pick a best!

Is there a performer or group you've seen live at least three times?  (For me that would be The Ramones (back in the day!) and more recently Irish fiddler Martin Hayes.)

Yes, the Dave Matthews Band.

Have you ever been to a concert and met the artist afterwards?

yeah, my ex was a drummer in a band so I've actually been able to hang out backstage with fishbone and the aggrolites (la dirty reggae band-played on the tim armstrong solo cd if not familiar with who they are)

also have met and hung out with the street dogs (boston punk).  Mostly punk shows that I go to...  (Andee- can't say how jealous I am that you were able to see the Ramones at least 3 times!!!)

I think I've seen them 5 times.  Little me in my black mini-skirt and Converse high tops getting caught up in the mosh pit; gabba gabba hey!  I am old now.  :(

Your turn to ask a question JessicaKate!

Probably not.  I'd likely get most of them but I'm sure there is something I've forgotten by now.

Do you have plans to see a live performance anytime soon?
...the whole damn thing will turn
and return redefined, rearranged, rearranged...
