I haven't been for about 10 years. I should but unfortunately I scare little children, dogs howl and cats run up trees when I start singing.

Can you ride a unicycle?

No.  I've tried so many times with those sets of three hacky-sack style beanbags but I never really get it.  After about 2 minutes I always get flustered and drop one.

Practice practice and more practice. It took me a long while but I did get there. Good? Let's put it this way, I'd starve if I did it for busking.

PS if you don't take the position of keeper, let me know. I'd love it.

No.

When was the last time you laughed until you cried?

My husband always makes me laugh but that last time it was till I cried was in September.  ;D

I remember because we were in Arizona and the rental car we had had a sun roof. A massive bug (I still don't know what kind but the thing was ugly and huge) flew in and smacked my DH right on his forehead! He screamed and I instantly burst into tears laughing at him. I had to pull over not only because I was driving and was laughing so hard but also so we could find the nasty thing and get it out of the car. After that my Hubby made sure the sun roof was closed.  :( It was great! I'll have to remind him about it when he gets home.  [smiley=laugh4.gif]

When you go out to a pub what do you usually order to drink?

Ya know, other than making a noodle tofu veggie stir fry every so often, I have not gone out for or gotten a takeaway from a Chinese place since I've been in the UK!  I think Indian has replaced Chinese since I've been here......

However, hot and sour soup was one of my faves--and whatever would be the equivelant of Buddhists' Delight here in the UK and spring rolls.

What do you normally order from your Indian takeaway?

Even though Indian food is very common in the UK, I still consider it exotic.  I can't remember the dishes but there were a few I tried that I had never heard of before.  I've also had Vietnamese food in Chinatown in Philly, Ethiopian food in West Philly, and my old, old, old housemate was Puerto Rican--his Mom cooked us a huge feast for a block party his band put on ages ago.  That's all I can think of right now.

What food did you think you would really like, but when you tried it you ended up not liking it at all?

Gnocchi (it cooks much faster than pasta) and pre-made pasta sauce or something I made a week ago or so and froze or pizza.

What was a recent "little kid moment" that you've had?  Mine was standing in line in the post office and looking at the little toys they sell.  My eyes fell upon a box of flourescent rubber millipede-like creatures with big eyes.  They were about 10 inches long and felt very squishy, almost sticky.  I wanted one very badly.  I may go back for one.

Hahaha must have been that tantrum I threw. (Actually more like blew a gasket - does that still count as a kid thing?) I am sick and tired of having to clear the kitchen table and worktops of college books, papers, etc when I want to cook something. I now 'politely' relocate them.

Do you buy yourself xmas gifts on behalf of others? I do sometimes then I get wat I want but I think a surprise is much better.

Sounds just like the toy my boy was wanting yesterday. Was it really stretchy? It'll be in his stocking.

Sure, that counts--but not in the playful way I was thinking of--more the dark side of a kid moment.

Yes, it was very stretchy.  Only 2 pounds at the post office.

If you can't find one near you, I'll gladly pop one through the post for you--think it'll get to you before Christmas?

OK I'll go again...

My kid moment was licking the bowl and beaters when I made a cake a little while ago. The boy gets first dibs but he don't have the knack of getting every last lick! I do!  :P  Is that more in keeping with your theme?  ;D

Yep that might explain why I like going to fancy dress parties as Darth Vader.

Thanks for that offer. That's very kind. We saw a box of these in the shop up the street and they were only a pound. They had heaps. Business opportunity? LOL
